Requirements & Guidelines

Application for entry into the competition is FREE and NO monies shall be solicited from participants in any way whatsoever

Successful applicants shall be required to conform to Road Safety Best Practice by assuming Road Safety Ambassador status for their lifetime and shall be expected to lead by example to other road users.

Application process will be strictly online with a link provided through the following facebook page: EA991 Driving Academy

All participants must be aged between 18 and 26 years of age this year and the programme is open to both males and females.

Must possess a valid Class B Driving Licence free of convictions for serious traffic offences, i.e. driving under the influence, causing death or injury by driving.

Must posses a valid passport whose expiry should be beyond April 2027.

Must be a citizen of Botswana and conversant in English and Setswana languages.

The programme shall entail both theory and practical tasks to be completed by eligible participants

Employees of Emergency Assist 991 or sponsors of the programme are not eligible to apply for entry into the programme
Required Documents
Applicants will be required to upload the following documentation during the application process:
Certified Copy of Passport
Certified Copy of National Identity Card
Certified Copy of Driving Licence
Police Clearance Affidavit (declaring zero record of disqualification/suspension from driving a motor vehicle)
